Overview

About the API:

The Email Verification Validator API plays a crucial role for users who depend on accurate email data. It offers a robust solution for verifying email addresses, with a specific focus on identifying two key categories: disposable email domains and invalid email addresses. Seamlessly integrating this API into your systems or applications can significantly improve the quality of your email databases, improve communication efficiency, and protect against fraudulent or non-functional email addresses.

This API is designed to streamline the email verification process by focusing on two main aspects: detecting disposable email domains and flagging invalid email addresses. It serves as an essential component of data quality management and helps organizations maintain clean, up-to-date, and accurate email databases.

One of its main functions is the identification of disposable email domains. These domains, often associated with temporary or disposable email services, are used for temporary purposes and may be linked to spam or fraudulent activities. The API effectively identifies these domains, allowing you to filter or flag email addresses originating from these sources.

Additionally, the API provides real-time verification, allowing users to instantly validate the authenticity of email addresses. This real-time response makes it easy to seamlessly integrate the verification process into multiple workflows, ensuring data quality is maintained as new email addresses are collected.

In short, the Email Verification Validator API is an invaluable tool for users looking to optimize the quality of their email data. By focusing on detecting throwaway domains and identifying invalid emails, this API improves communication efficiency, reduces bounce rates, and provides protection against fraudulent or non-functional email addresses. Whether used in marketing, application development, or data management, this API offers a reliable and efficient solution for maintaining the integrity and quality of email databases.

The Email Checker endpoint returns a JSON object containing detailed information about the validity of the provided email address, including its deliverability, domain type, and SMTP connectivity.

Key fields in the response include "is_deliverable," "is_disposable," "can_connect_smtp," "overall_score," and "mx_records," which provide insights into the email's validity and associated domain characteristics.

The response data is structured as a JSON object with key-value pairs. Each key represents a specific attribute of the email address, allowing users to easily access and interpret the validation results.

The Email Checker provides information on email deliverability, domain type (disposable, free, role account), SMTP connectivity, and whether the email address is associated with spam traps or has valid syntax.

The primary parameter for the Email Checker endpoint is the email address itself, which must be provided in the request to receive validation results.

Data accuracy is maintained through continuous updates and validation checks against known email domains and patterns, ensuring that the API provides reliable and current information.

Typical use cases include validating email addresses during user registration, improving email marketing campaign effectiveness, and ensuring data quality in CRM systems.

Users can utilize the returned data to filter out invalid or disposable email addresses, enhance communication strategies, and maintain a clean email database for better engagement and reduced bounce rates.

The local currency shown on the pricing page is based on the country of your IP address and is provided for reference only. The actual prices are in USD (United States Dollar). When you make a payment, the charge will appear on your card statement in USD, even if you see the equivalent amount in your local currency on our website. This means you cannot pay directly with your local currency.

Prices are determined by a recurring monthly or yearly subscription, depending on the chosen plan.
API calls are deducted from your plan based on successful requests. Each plan comes with a specific number of calls that you can make per month. Only successful calls, indicated by a Status 200 response, will be counted against your total. This ensures that failed or incomplete requests do not impact your monthly quota.
Zyla API Hub works on a recurring monthly subscription system. Your billing cycle will start the day you purchase one of the paid plans, and it will renew the same day of the next month. So be aware to cancel your subscription beforehand if you want to avoid future charges.
To upgrade your current subscription plan, simply go to the pricing page of the API and select the plan you want to upgrade to. The upgrade will be instant, allowing you to immediately enjoy the features of the new plan. Please note that any remaining calls from your previous plan will not be carried over to the new plan, so be aware of this when upgrading. You will be charged the full amount of the new plan.
To check how many API calls you have left for the current month, refer to the 'X-Zyla-API-Calls-Monthly-Remaining' field in the response header. For example, if your plan allows 1,000 requests per month and you've used 100, this field in the response header will indicate 900 remaining calls.

You can monitor your API usage through the response headers included with every request:

x-zyla-api-calls-monthly-used: Shows the total number of API requests you have used during the current billing period.
x-zyla-api-calls-monthly-remaining: Shows the number of API requests you have remaining for the current billing period.

The 'X-Zyla-RateLimit-Reset' header shows the number of seconds until your rate limit resets. This tells you when your request count will start fresh. For example, if it displays 3,600, it means 3,600 seconds are left until the limit resets.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply go to the Pricing section of the API you're subscribed to and click the "Unsubscribe" button.

Please note that upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations take effect immediately. Once your subscription is canceled, access to the service will end immediately, regardless of any remaining API calls in your quota.

After 7 days, you will be charged the full amount for the plan you were subscribed to during the trial. Therefore, it's important to cancel before the trial period ends. Refund requests for forgetting to cancel on time are not accepted.
When you subscribe to an API free trial, you can make up to 50 API calls. If you wish to make additional API calls beyond this limit, the API will prompt you to perform an "Start Your Paid Plan."
